Hey everyone! I'm Dayna Huor and I'm a Hyper Pro. I would just like to make this discussion for people who LOVE to stretch, like me. Remember, flexibility is an important part to any sport, of course including martial arts and tricking. Just talk about what your favorite stretching exercise is. Let's help make the world more flexible!
I totally agree Dayna, as I am to a Hyper Pro, I love to stretch and see how much farther I can get into the splits and higher kicks, here are some of my favorite stretches:
*Over Splits
*Door Way splits
*Paper Splits
*Stradle
*Frog Spits
*Bridge
*And any other partner Stretches.
Try them, do them either everyday or everyother day and you can see the difference in your flexibilty in about a week.
You guys are all really amazing and have some crazy backgrounds! I actually just started training not long ago and i must agree as a person who could not get my legs very high after just stretching for a couple of weeks it has improved dramatically wish you all the best in everything you do :D
It is very important to stretch. Because with tricking in martial arts it involves lots of flexibility. So i stretch everyday before training for about 20 min. And get warmed up to start the day. then again after i work out.
I everyone! I'm 7 years old and I started karate at the age of 5. I lived in canada and I've just participate at the Quebec Open tournament. I looking to improve my stretching and I would like to know where I can find free site to help me. Could someone help me!
I really like the straight down and splits stretch.
They get my most used muscles ready for a day of Parkore and Tricking.
others are quad, calf, shine, shoulder, back and sides. If anyone wants to know how. I'd be more then happy to explain(GG the Dragon)
Paper splits are regular front and middle splits but you put each foot on a piece of paper and slide down into the splits. Gravity pulls you down so you go farther down compared to normal splits.
