Hey Everyone!

Just thought I would take a minute to post a video from this past weekend’s AKA Grand Nationals Team Tricking Battle.  I was lucky enough to be invited to trick as part of Team High Five with Michael Guthrie, Dan Pitlock, and David Armstrong.  We battled Team AKA in the night show and there were some CRAZY tricks being thrown.  I feel honored to get the chance to trick with some of my tricking idols.  It was the highlight of my weekend!  Hope you enjoy the video!!!

It’s the Monday after AKA Grand Nationals in Kentucky, and I had a great time.  I came home with 3rds in traditional weapons and team sync, 2nd in creative weapons and 1sts in musical and creative forms. :D  I am happy with how I placed.  I got to see all of my friends from the circuit and Michael Guthrie (2nd person ever to triple cork), and my good friend I haven’t seen in three years.

Looking forward to the US OPEN coming up!  Hope to see you all soon  :)

I had an action packed week and it’s still going. It started with New England Open, where I won my first weapons Grand Championship of the year. I beat Ross Levine and undefeated Kalman Csoka. The competition reminded me of how it used to be back when I was a junior!  After the tournament I drove home from Massachusetts and got on a plane in New York to head to California for the Karate Kid Movie Premiere. The movie was great and afterwards we got to hang out at the after party. I met Jackie Chan, Jayden Smith, Will Smith and Ciara. It was a great time! The next day I flew home and had just enough time to get a few hours of sleep and repack my suitcase to head to Atlanta to teach at Kalman Csoka’s Elite Camp.  The camp was awesome! So much young talent!  Now I’m packing my suitcase again this time heading to Kentucky for the Bluegrass Nationals! See everyone there!

Hey Everyone,

Here it is the night before I depart for AKA Grand Nationals in Kentucky and I thought I would update my Hyper blog!  This year is flying by and I have been keeping really busy tricking, dancing, and competing.  I graduated 8th grade last week with a 4.0 GPA!  My grades are very important to me even with all the extra activities I do!  I have been working on my double cork and swinging thru on a lot of my other tricks.  I have TR swing-thru cork swing-thru gainer and a lot of super cool new combos.  I was really looking forward to the illReality tricking battle at New England Open but I just ran out of time and I was not able to compete.  I plan on doing the tricking battle at AKA and showing some of my newer tricks and combos.  I have done 6 NASKA tournaments so far for 2010 and I have won 11 Grand Championships!  Hope everyone is getting ready for a great summer :)  Keep training hardcore and talk to everyone again soon!!!

Hey everyone!  Sami Suddeth here, and I am so excited for AKA GRAND NATIONALS this weekend in Kentucky!  I have been training and getting ready with kicks and  tricks.  Before tournaments all I drill are forms and tricks that I am not quite sure of, so I now I will hit everything strong.   Hope to see some of you all there.

What’s up everyone? The last two months have been crazy for me.  In April, I competed at the Ocean State Grand Nationals for the first time since my injury. It has been 20 months since my last performance back in 2008 at the US Open. The tournament went well I took a first place in Creative Weapons.  Two weeks later I competed at the Quebec Open where I took three first places in Musical Forms, Creative Forms and Creative Weapons and in May I won my first grand championship at the Gator Nationals in CMX Mens Forms. In between all of those tournaments, my student Danny Etkin and I competed in the Karate Kid competition at Six Flags. We made it to the final 3.  Next week we are heading to the premiere of the Karate Kid.  On the red carpet they will announce which team is the winner! I would like to thank everyone who voted!! We appreciate all the support and mass emails.  See ya at the New England Open!!
